Short version: the calculators never send us anything, we do not want your contact details, and we have nothing to sell to a lender.
Nothing you type into a calculator leaves your browser
Every tool on this site — eligibility, affordability, rate check, lender match, all of them — runs entirely in your browser. Your loan amount, your cash flow, your credit range, your criminal history answers: none of it is transmitted, logged or stored. There is no server to send it to. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the calculators still work.
What we do collect
What we do not do
No lead generation. We take no loan applications and have no lender relationships. There is no form on this site that sends your details anywhere, because there is no form.
No selling or sharing. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.
No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, so there is no password or profile to leak.
Third parties
Borrowers named in federal data
SBA's public FOIA releases contain the name, street address and loan details of every borrower. We load those files but publish only aggregates — never a borrower name, never an address, never anything that identifies an individual business owner. If you took an SBA loan, you will not find yourself on this site. That is a deliberate choice, not an oversight, and it is described in our methodology.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to have it deleted, or to opt out of its sale. Since we do not build profiles, do not sell data, and have no accounts, in practice there is almost nothing to request — but write to corrections@sbadecoded.com and we will answer.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes materially — particularly if we add advertising or analytics that tracks individuals — we will update the date below and describe what changed rather than quietly editing it.
